Alps Merchandising Corporation — known as ALMERCO — has been the Philippines' leading importer and distributor of non-ferrous metals since its founding in 1960. From a small trading company in Chinatown, Manila, Alps has grown into a full-service metal supplier and precision tools specialist, serving machine shops, engineering firms, manufacturers and construction companies across Metro Manila and beyond.
In 1997, Alps formed Intercon Agro-Industrial Corp. through a joint venture with a China Export Agency, expanding the group's product range and reach. Today, both companies operate from two fully stocked warehouses of approximately 500 m² each in Quezon City.
